The Scantic Valley YMCA located at 45 Post Office Park in Wilbraham is just minutes from Cedar Ridge and offers a state-of-the-art facility, featuring Two Pools, a Gymnasium, a Wellness Center, Three Locker Rooms, a Multi-Purpose Room, Aerobics Classes, and so much more. Its hours of operation are Monday – Friday 5:30 am – 10:00 pm, Saturday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday 7:00 am – 6:00 pm.

Since 1927, The Country Club of Wilbraham has been home to Wilbraham’s own state-of-the-art 18-hole golf course. The meticulously maintained course offers private membership and features 6,380 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 69.3 and has a slope rating of 108 bent grass. Although the course is private, the Country Club welcomes non-members to play as well. Weekly, The Country Club serves a scrumptious Sunday Brunch and hosts many socials events, as well as weekly golf events and tournaments.

Fountain Park, a nature and recreational preserve maintained by the Wilbraham Nature & Cultural Center since 1992, is a peaceful retreat perfect for those looking to enjoy the clean outdoors, the fresh air, and all of the beauty the preserve has to offer. Colored coded trails marked by the local Eagle Scouts boasts small plaques identifying native plants and trees. Throughout the year, visitors take advantage of these trails while running, walking and cross country skiing. In the summer months, many in town visit Fountain Park to experience the annual Peach Festival and to enjoy the Summer Concert Series, performed at Fountain Park’s “infamous” gazebo, built and donated by The Pecoy Companies for visitors of Fountain Park to enjoy.

Enjoy a fun-filled day at Wilbraham’s own Spec Pond. Spec Pond’s park-like facilities offer something for everyone: a public beach, an open-sided pavilion with picnic tables that seats up to 200 people, a covered barbeque pit for grilling, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, baseball fields and so much more. Enjoy an action-packed day of sports, lounge on the beach, or enjoy a sunset walk along the water’s edge.
